PA & NY

Well we made it. Ryan, Loren and my dad drove out to PA with the moving trailers and though it was a rough and long drive, they made it in one piece.
I am back east. I haven't lived here since December of 2006. Insane. But I am loving it. I miss Utah a ton and all our friends but it is so fun to be back.
Well we spent some time in PA with my family since Ryan had a conference to go to in Philly the first week of August. So we partied there for a while.
Philly was the same as usual. Good for a couple hours and then I am ready to leave. Reading Terminal was nice to meander through and to get a delicious cheesesteak which I haven't had in years. No matter what anyone says, there is NOWHERE in Utah to get a decent one. We walked around Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell and then came home. But it was fun to show it to Ryan and Tucker for sure.
Home was relaxing. Ryan had a blast seeing where I lived for the first time. And Tucker had a ton of fun wandering around the yard and going to the garden with my dad every day.
But now we officially live in NY. We moved in and now we are just waiting on some last minute furniture items and then we are done and ready for guests. As of right now we have no couches or a dining table so parties are Arab style right now.
And words can't describe how happy we are in Ithaca. Cornell is seriously Hogwarts. We have a Wegman's grocery store and there are the most beautiful waterfalls and rivers and gorges all around us.
Anyway, here are a few pics of life for us now. After this weekend I will hopefully have everything done around the house and I will take some pictures to post so you can see our new lodgings

This is the big pond at my parents house. They have made it so cute since I lived here.
Tucker and I slept an afternoon or two in this hammock in the backyard.

Tucker. Gah how cute is he

Just be aware that this post is really too long. Not with wordy goop from me. But with pictures of the sweetest little peanut on the planet. So, if you can't handle overwhelming amounts of cuteness, please take in the pictures in small batches. If you are truly brave then venture forth.
Also, since I am super rude and since we just moved across the world, please forgive me that I haven't gotten thank you cards out to all those who got presents for Tucker. We love you and appreciate them so much and are so grateful for everyone :)

Well here is the story of Tucker's 3 and a half birthday parties.

1. California - After Hawaii we thought it would be wise to have a little shindig in OC before heading back to Utah and moving across the country. We had friends and family over and it was just awesome. Little man loved everything about that day.

Tucker really loved feeding the dogs.

2. Utah/Whetton Home - So Pioneer Day we went to Ryan's BYU boss's house for a brunch and they ended up getting a little something for Tucker which just melted our hearts. It was a delicious brunch from Magleby's and oh man it was so fun to talk for hours, to have my dad there with us and to have a wild ride along the Wasatch in their ATV.

This is Tucker's adorable little cake they got for him. It was delicious.

After.

The Whettons. Love you guys

3. Utah/Actual Birthday - So Tucker's actual birthday was a blast. We played, ate some more delicious food, spent time with my dad and got the boys ready to head out to NY the next day. We had so much fun seeing all our friends one last time and it really made us appreciate our wonderful time in Utah. We love it there and hope that we can see you all again soon. Thanks for being amazing.

3.5 PA - And lest we forget the post bday parties for this little man. As soon as we got to my parents house in PA we got to open all of his presents as well! His favorite was this little bike. How adorable is this??

And thus we have the story of the boy with three (and a half) birthdays.
