So this past weekend, Ryan and I made the long trek down to Mesa, AZ to see some close friends. We had the awesome opportunity to see Ryan's mission president and his wife, the Morris's. They were so sweet and it was such a fun time sitting and talking with them and seeing their adorable chocolate lab puppy! We also got to spend time with the newest McDaniel's family and we got to go to the Mesa Temple! It was such a wonderful experience for us as neither of us had been there before. What made it even more special though was that it was my birthday and it was also the temple where my parents were sealed after they joined the LDS Church. The spirit was so strong and it was such a beautiful day!
It was just a quick weekend down to AZ and before we knew it we were back on the road to Provo. This ride gave me a great chance to reflect on my life up to this point...
I am so happy to be where I am. I am married to my best friend and he is the most wonderful man in the world. I am about to graduate from Brigham Young University with my Bachelor's in Geospatial Intelligence. I spent this past summer living and working in the Middle East and had some of the most amazing experiences ever. And, looking forward, the outlook is even brighter.
I am so grateful for the life that I have been given and the wonderful opportunities I have been able to participate in. I am so grateful for my wonderful family and in-laws. I have the greatest friends on earth and I am so excited to see what life throws at us in the coming years :D
