Growing up on the east coast, you learn to never see other members of the church or to have to drive 45 minutes to church. However, in recent years, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has been growing stronger every year! So much so that on September 17th, the groundbreaking ceremony of the Philadelphia Temple was held on Constitution Day!
I was not able to see the actual ceremony that day because they were only showing it to local stakes in the area. But, they do have a great website about the temple here...

This temple is one that will bring a gorgeous and spiritual addition to the city of Philadelphia and it will be a welcome relief for the saints in the area. I am so excited about this temple. It is going to be gorgeous and I am so happy for the work that will be done there.
Now... for the Trujillo update! Ryan served his mission in Peru and Trujillo was one of the areas that he worked and labored in. He absolutely loved his mission and we are hoping to be able to visit this temple sometime in the future!

We are both so happy for new temples to be built. We are grateful for the restored gospel of Jesus Christ and the priesthood that is here in these sacred halls. The work will keep going forth in this time! Someday soon we will see temples all over this world and missionaries sharing the gospel in all the tongues of men! :)
